English Essay
The English Essay paper is one of the most crucial—and most feared—components of the CSS exam conducted by FPSC Pakistan. Despite being just one paper worth 100 marks, it has a disproportionately high failure rate. In recent years, over 90% of candidates fail the essay paper, making it the biggest elimination factor in CSS.
This paper doesn’t just test your English grammar. It evaluates your ability to think critically, construct logical arguments, and present them in a clear, coherent, and persuasive manner. Even candidates who perform well in other subjects are often disqualified due to poor essay performance.

This collection offers quotes on key topics like education, health, and climate to guide aspirants. However, candidates should also build their own quote bank by noting impactful lines from various sources. Thoughtful use of quotations can greatly enhance the quality of one’s answers.
